Lesson 1
The Study Of God
1. God is the Creator of all things. "In the beginning, _______
created the heaven and the earth" (Gen. 1:1).
2. God is eternal, Who is "from _______________ to __________________
... " (Ps. 90:2).
3. God is Almighty, for there is nothing too _______________ for
Him (Jere. 32:17).
4. God is Omniscient, Who knows even the ____________ of men (Rom.
2:16).
5. God is immutable in nature and purpose (Num. 23:19). He said,
"I am the Lord, I ___________ not..." (Mal. 3:6).
6. God is just and righteous, "Who will render to ____________
______ according to his deeds" (Rom. 2:6).
7. God is holy (Lev. 11:44). "For thou art not a God that
hath pleasure in ______________: neither shall ___________ dwell
with thee" (Ps.5:4).
8. God is the source of life, Who "giveth to all ________,
and __________, and all ________"(Acts 17:25).
9. God is good to men, Who "did _____, and gave us rain from
heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and
gladness" (Acts 14:17).
10. God is love, Who gave His _____ ___________ _____ to save
the world from eternal death (John 3:16).
11. God will judge every man on the Last Day. "Let us hear
the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work
into _______________, with every secret thing, whether it be good,
or whether it be evil" (Eccl. 12:13-14).
Conclusion: Since God is our Creator, and reveals His Person to
us through His word (Heb. 1:1-2), we therefore ought to study
the Bible to know Him. Otherwise, eternal death will be our punishment
in refusing to learn and obey His will (2 Thess. 1:7-9).
